With his contract set to run out in the summer, this represents the London club's final opportunity to obtain a fee for their captain. A host of top clubs, such as City and multiple European giants including Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich, are believed to be interested. Yet, a winter departure is considered difficult, particularly given the coach's dependence on the defender.

Brennan Johnson

The Welsh forward has found starting minutes limited at Tottenham this term. Despite finishing as the club's leading goalscorer the previous campaign, Johnson has started just a handful of league games. It is understood the North London outfit would be open to a transfer for the right price, believed to be in the around forty million pounds. The Cherries appear to be leading the chase, with Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, and Brentford also showing an interest.
